Although more research is required in this area, it is believed that introducing celery to your diet can help in reducing inflammation caused due to gout. The exact amount of celery required to treat gout is yet to be documented. Therefore, try to include celery several times in your meal in a day. You can consume celery seeds, juice, sticks, and extract.
3. Magnesium
Magnesium is an essential dietary mineral. Although studies are required to prove it, it is claimed that magnesium is necessary for gout patients since its absence in the diet can make the inflammation worse. In a 2015 study, there was an association shown between eating sufficient magnesium and reduced uric acid levels in the body. When the uric acid levels are under control, it lowers the risk of gout. However, the findings were based on men and not women in the study. To make sure that your magnesium intake is sufficient, you can take supplements, but ensure that you have read the labels properly. 4. Dandelion

In two studies, dandelion was seen to reduce the uric acid levels in people who were at risk of kidney injury. A direct association between dandelion intake and relieving of gout symptoms is yet to be proven. Dandelion can be used in any form, supplement, tea, or extract.
